I figured I would download a creation or two today...until the game tells me that I need an active internet connection and all online features are unavailable. I hate you Hughesnet...I hate you so much.
Edit: Finally got in, tried to download an RVD, then it would spin for a couple minutes before telling me there was a network error. I hate you Hughesnet.

If you've replaced Main Event with another show the new DLC will erase the new show and bring back Main Event. Luckily you don't lose progress in terms of rankings nor do your champions get erased, but you will need to rename the show, ppvs, and reassign the roster. Apparently they are working on it, but a stupid bug all the same. Luckily it didn't take me too long to get my NJPW show back in place.
...and for the record, Samoa Joe is very awesome to use
***The WWE 2K16 Future Stars pack DLC has affected some users’ Universe Mode save files. Do not download the Future Stars Pack if you play Universe Mode as it will affect that mode's save file.***
The patch fix on PlayStation 4 has been approved by Sony for release today at 3p.m. PST. When players download and install Patch 1.05, Universe Mode saves will function normally.
Patch notes applicable to Universe Mode:
Addressed an issue that occurred when the “WWE 2K16 Future Stars Pack” was installed where certain WWE Universe elements would reset (ongoing rivalries, calendar changes, edited shows, championship rankings) and changes wouldn’t save properly when exiting the mode or restarting the title. The level of impact varied by user, but users who replaced a default show slot with a Custom Show are more likely to have been impacted. Rivalries, calendar changes, custom shows, and championship rankings can now be manually readjusted. Users who installed the WWE 2K16 Future Stars Pack on Patch 4 and encountered issues with Universe elements resetting may not be able to recover all data from their pre-WWE 2K16 Future Stars Pack installation WWE Universe save state, particularly with regards to statistics and ongoing rivalry stories for shows impacted by the reset. Affected users should not have to reset their entire Universe save state to continue playing the mode, which will now save changes properly.

Yep they are available in all modes, though you have to manually make them tag teams in Universe (minus the Outsiders). The templates exist so it isn't hard to do, just one of those little things that you have to question.
For the amusement of the group, I wanted to share something that happened while I was over a Monk's this weekend. After the fights went off and I had concluded my 20 downloads for the day, Monk and I ran a couple extreme rules tornado tag matches. I don't recall a lot of details from the matches we ran that night, but the last one was Dusty and Dustin Rhodes against Arn Anderson(Monk) and Ric Flair(Me)...well, as a shock to us all, it turns out that Arn Anderson keeps a book of matches in his boots, and that crazy son of a bitch spine busted The American Dream through a flaming table. Dustin gave up to the figure four a short time later.
After all my Brand Extension talk, I finally got back into this game:
My new setup begins with the premise that Shane McMahon defeated Undertaker. He was in cahoots with Vince McMahon, who wanted to get rid of Triple H and Stephanie because he felt they were trying to take over his company. Through some non-logical series of events that only WWE could pull off, it's announced that prior to WrestleMania Triple H tricked Vince McMahon into selling him the rights to the WCW name because he smelled a rat. With that, Triple H is the new owner of WCW and acquired the Smackdown brand through a deal with the Board of Directors and USA Network (again, it doesn't have to make sense).
So we have WWE RAW and WCW Smackdown.
Both are operating monthly special events and will only come together at Royal Rumble and WrestleMania. Right now, WCW is operating a Clash of the Champions every month (except July, where they have Bash at the Beach, and December with Starrcade).

Here's the first month of shows, which I let the CPU book all of (I simmed all but two matches, the US and World title matches at Clash of Champions I) just to see the direction the CPU would take things. I'll be taking some control of WCW booking and playing the matches, but letting the CPU have complete control of RAW and just simming those.
