Best thing you can do to help at this point is go to the Stronghold each day you get on and do your daily quests. Once you are down go to the coffer (mimic chest) and turn in whatever resources you can spare.
Alright I have posting permissions on the Arc Forum now. I'll make a recruitment thread either late tonight or tomorrow. I don't want to do it right this second only because I won't be getting back online until late tonight and I don't want people responding and me missing a chance to respond quickly.
I'm down anytime I'm on. If no one is around though you can just queue into it with random people. They are fairly easy and straight forward. Usually takes about 15-25 minutes depending on the Dungeon you are doing and the group. You'll be scaled down to whatever the level of the dungeon is but the loot drops seemingly based on the level of the person who killed the enemy. So you may see some drops at a higher level than you are. It is worth doing daily to earn the Astral Diamonds. Also remember to get your daily dungeon key. You can only hold one at a time though so if you skip a day you'll need to use that one before he'll give you another.
I plan on going into a queue for an Epic Dungeon this week to check it out. Hopefully we'll be up to 4 level 70s by the end of the week depending how much Icky and Cristos play.

So apparently Icewind Dale is largely an open-world PVP campaign and none of the Black Ice gear is even good (and the boons aren't really either). With that, this is one campaign that I'll be skipping.

Doc, 2x Astral Diamonds tomorrow.
Cloak Tower, Cloak Tower, Cloak Tower... tons of times. Two skirmishes. Obviously the invocation. But what we really need to do, besides just grind Cloak Tower since it takes 5 minutes or less, is farm the hell out of heroic demonic encounters in the Dread Ring.
There seems to be a fairly decent drop rate for the rings (I've gotten four in the last two and a half days, and it's not like I've done a ton of heroics in the area). Those salvage for 3,000 AD, so with this event that'll be 6,000AD. So just two rings would be 12,000 AD, so that's probably the most efficient thing to farm because it also will grant us our Demonic Icor and the other demonic stuff that we need to process for the Undertaker boons.
There's a few daily quests that award some rough AD, and those will also be doubled. It'd be super awesome if the 500 AD from exchanging Seals was also doubled, as that'd just be more reason to grind Cloak Tower.
My goal for this event is to have no less than 250,000 AD when the event is over. I want to be able to get a $35 mount by exchanging AD to Zen after this event is over. I may even try to sell some Zen during the event, since it'll more than likely cost a lot more AD to get Zen than the roughly 120 it does now, and not everyone is going to hoard their AD that they're easily getting until the event is over and the price goes back down a little.

Couldn't help myself, I used a 1,000 of the Zen I had to get another month of VIP, putting at rank 5. But it was the first month of VIP I've been able to buy using just Astral Diamonds.
The cool thing about rank 5 is that I can now invoke from anywhere (no camp or altar required) and I'll be getting 10% more Astral Diamonds from invoking everytime, plus additional invoking rewards. I'll eventually get to rank 8, and then probably stop there.
At least the Cat companion you need is readily available at a set price. The one I need is the Fire Archon, and right now there's only on the AH and it's 800,000 AD. And it's uncommon, so I'll have to have all the tokens and crap to upgrade it. The only other way to get it is by spending Trade Bars (until the Elemental Trove lockboxes are made available on PS4). It only cost a cool 800 trade bars, so I don't even want to know how much money the guy trying to sell one on the Auction House has spent on keys to even have 800 trade bars. I mean, even if you got 10 every day from one lockbox, at the end of the month you'd still only have 300. So to have already had over 800, when they can give out 3 or 4 bars, is insane. Dude must've had insane luck on getting the Tradebar jackpot (which is like 75-100).

Well I think I'll definitely hit my goal of no less than 250,000 AD.
I did no skirmishes, and only two two Cloak Tower runs. I'm sitting at 93,586 diamonds, hit the refining cap, and have 96,136 rough diamonds waiting to be refined.
So I ended the first day of the event already at 189,722 AD, or as of this posting the AD exchange is at 122 each... so if I could exchange them all right now, I could get $15.50 worth and still have some left over. Not bad at all for a game where I've seen people throw around "pay to win" and "can only progress if you open up your wallet."
Yeah I could have done better but I had to go to bed early. Still managed to hit just under 110,000 AD. Goal is 100,000 a day though so I still hit that. Dungeons, Skirmishes, and invoking should have me well over 150,000
Should have waited for the price to drop more this morning though, I got a little impatient and bought zen at a higher rate than I would have liked. Still should be able to profit off of it but had I waited 40 minutes it would have dropped down to 122 as opposed to the high 129 that I bought at. Hopefully I'll catch a peak time later as I saw it swell as high as 149 yesterday.

As of right now, I have 191,166 AD and 151,280 waiting to be refined, so 342,446. I'm aiming for at least 630,000 total by the time I get all of them refined. My plan/goal is to be able to get at least 5,000 Zen so I can get the mount I want (Heavy Howler, which I'd wait until I got either a 15% off Mount or Any Item coupon before getting).
Ultimately, without spending any more of my own money on the game, I want to be able to acquire the following using AD to Zen before I shift my attention to using AD to actually buy items on the AH:
2x Runic Bag of Holding - 1,600 each. VIP Rank 8 - 2,700 Race Reroll - 2,000 Bank Slots - 600 Black Dragon Ioun Stone - 2,500 Scourge Warlock Starter Pack - 3,500 Greater Stone of Health - 1,500
As you can see, it'll be a LONG time before I use AD for auction house items, but once I get these items there really isn't anything else in the store that I'd want and would probably just occasionally use some AD to get a few enchanted keys.
Between the two Runic Bags and the Greater Bag that comes in the Scourge Warlock starter pack, I'd have 84 additional inventory slots, plus 16 additional bank slots. So I'd have more than enough space, although I would like to in the long run have a ton of bank space because once we get to where we can start really farming the end game stuff (in addition to demonic heroics), I'd like to just store up a bunch of salvageable items for later 2x Astral Diamonds event.

Spent most of the AD I had on hand on epic profession materials, two enchanted keys (from the exchange), and a Runic Bag of Holding. I snatched the bag for 235,000, which was a good 20,000 cheaper than the other lowest priced on and some 30,000+ cheaper than it would have cost to get 1,600 Zen off the exchange.
Will definitely be getting another bag when I can get some of this refined.
I swear I hate trying Epic Dungeons with randoms. The first two in the queue are easy as can be. Handful of groups of enemies and then one final boss. Instead of working as a team though everybody does their own thing and tries to be the hero. Instead they end up dying creating a domino effect.
I was playing one earlier and things were going decent, couple guys died in the early parts and we did have one wipe due to our healer dying during a wave battle but overall better than most instances I've been in. Then it comes time for the boss fight. Nobody seems to understand the simple concept of working on the adds in a boss fight and instead goes right after the boss and promptly get killed. So we wiped a couple of times and finally our healer had enough and left and was replaced by a DPS guy. Which brings up my next point:
There needs to be a change to the way Epic Dungeons queue up. Something as simple as identifying what role you are filling. Most classes it doesn't matter but there are a few that can play multiple ways. So if you are a healer but play as a DPS character, then you should queue up as such. Instead the game just recognizes you have the ability to heal people and characterizes you that way regardless of your intent. Also when you lose somebody the same queue logic should apply. Instead it's no rules when looking for reinforcements. Like I said above our healer was replaced by a Control Wizard. At that point you have no choice but to quit, which sucks when you fought all the way to the boss and literally have nothing to show for it.
All those people bitching about Destiny not having matchmaking in raids need to be careful what they ask for. If people struggle this much with dungeons with no mechanics whatsoever, then I can only imagine how something like King's Fall would go with a group of randoms.
Original goal was 50 by the end of the month, I really can't see that being a problem at this point. I've let up a little bit with the recruiting but plan on hitting it pretty hard this weekend. Seems to be fairly steady right now too, we've only lost one person in the last couple of days. I expect the turnover to stay down as long as we keep creeping up in the member count and stay active.
I don't help out every single time somebody asks but a lot of times I try and make myself available to run some quests and help out.
