Been watching TrueVanguard play Battlefield 1 and Titanfall 2, and they both look like a lot of fun.
Have any of you played one or both of them?
Which one would you recommend? I'm leaning Titanfall 2, just because I hear the campaign is really good (if short) and the multiplayer does look like fast paced fun, but Battlefield looks really good too. It's been a long time since I've played a Battlefield game though.
I'm playing both. More different and unalike than most people would think. Bizarre complements to one another.
I wouldn't recommend buying them *just* for their single player components also both games' SPs are respectable. BF1's presentation and narrative in the SP really impressed me. This isn't about "war is cool and fun!" and I think they did a fantastic job all the way around.
Bf1 is the most fun I've had with this series since Bad Company 2, which is still the one I was best at. It's back to meat and potatoes. No super guns. No uber tech.
Is it perfect? No. I'll never be one of these junkies that plays for hours and goes from rank 1 to 20 in a night or two.
If you're forced to make a choice, go for BF1 first then Titanfall 2 unless you're just more in the mood for Titanfall 2.
I've only played the intro/tutorial on BF1, but thought the presentation was fantastic and that it really had a gritty, ugly, realistic look to it. I mean that as a compliment, as it was easily the best game I'd ever seen at making it look like you were there in the mud. Haven't tried the MP.
Titanfall 2 was fun from what I played on the Beta, didn't get into this past weekend though.
I got BF1 on PS4 and TF2 on XB1 if having people to join up with is a factor for you.
We'll see. I originally assumed the Deluxe Edition included the season pass, but apparently it's just a couple of weapons and two emotes. Getting real tired of games having three and four different editions.
