Original Main Event was Daniel Cormier vs Anthony Johnson for the Light Heavyweight Title but Cormier suffered an injury *Anthony Pettis missed weight and so if he wins he will NOT become the Interim Champion **Kennedy was supposed to face Rashad Evans but Evans was not medically cleared by the Athletic Commission
Same exact fight and two commissions. The Toronto commission from my understanding is just following suit from the NY commission. Rashad says it is an "abnormality" that he's been dealing with for awhile but didn't go into specifics but I wouldn't be surprised if his fighting career is over. Guy is pretty well spoken and seems intelligent so hopefully he can become an analyst full time.
WOW, got to love the underdog cards that over deliver. Got a KO of the Year candidate on the Fight Pass Prelims, a wild Fight of the Year fight early on the main card, a back and forth brawl for the Co-Main, and a main event that featured a guy whom has never been finished get battered and TKO'd. Really only fight on the PPV that wasn't good was the opener and had the second and third rounds been as good as the first in that fight it would have been awesome too.
