A big problem I've come across with writing my movie reviews is lacking the time and/or energy to write them, not to mention actually having the time to watch the stack of movies I have.
Another key problem is having a stack of movies to review, needing time to review them, as well as watching more movies.
In attempt to ease this dilemma, I have made this thread. My idea is mainly for older movies(or lower tier/quality current movies) to just give the title, a score, and hopefully at least a sentence or two about the flick. In addition, it won't clutter up this forum with really short reviews.
This could also work well for movies that are tough to describe without giving too much away, case in point:
TVE Score: 3 stars
This is really just a fun movie that I loved as a kid and I still enjoy today. As a Christmas present, a man buys his son a strange creature known as a mogwai, which he names Gizmo. Naturally, through a comedy of errors, the rules of caring for the creature are broken and little monsters soon take over the town.
Aside from lacking some information that we've been putting into other reviews(time, rating, director, actors, etc...), that, in my eyes, is a suitable summary of this movie. Hope this works out well.
Stinger's Note: In bringing back this old thread for the Columns & Reviews forum the idea would be to also bring back the Five Fast Film Reviews feature for the MP. So everytime we get five of these posted, we'll have enough to put together with some formatting and pictures for the main page.
