Marvel Heroes Omega is coming to PS4 and Xbox One soon. PS4 getting a closed beta beginning Friday if you buy a Founder's Pack, but an open beta is coming soon and of course the game itself is free-to-play.
Action RPG, basically Diablo with Marvel characters. PS4 is launching with a roster of 38 to begin with.
I expect to spend a decent amount of time with this. May even buy a founders pack depending on how much the different versions of it cost (won't go up on the store until Friday).
Angela Ant-Man Beast Black Panther Black Widow Blade Captain America Captain Marvel Colossus Cyclops Daredevil Deadpool Dr. Strange Gambit Ghost Rider Hawkeye Hulk Iceman Iron Fist Iron Man Jean Grey Kitty Pryde Luke Cage Magik Moon Knight Nova Psylocke Punisher Rocket Raccoon Scarlet Witch She-Hulk Spider-Man Squirrel Girl Star-Lord Storm Thor War Machine Wolverine
I'm pretty sure you get to choose one for free, and the rest you can play for free to level 10. After the free one, you have to buy the other characters using real money or the in-game currency which drops from enemies and mission rewards. On the PC, you got like 400 of the Eternity Splinters on the second day of playing, and that was enough to purchase a second character. I assume it'll be the same on PS4.
With a lot of playing and farming, you can get all the characters (and costumes) without having to spend any money.
I believe characters using the in-game Eternity Splinters currency was like 400 to 600 ES (and maybe even more than that), so if it's the same on PS4 I'd recommend picking one of the higher ES cost heroes to start with.
I played it a little bit on PC a couple of years ago. It was pretty fun but I just don't like KB&M. Really looking forward to diving into it with a DS4 and on my TV.
Iron Fist and War Machine are exclusive to the Founder's Pack for the first six months.
These are the Founder's Packs:
Avengers Founder’s Pack Deadpool Founder’s Pack Guardians of the Galaxy Founder’s Pack Spider-Man Founder’s Pack War Machine Founder’s Pack X-Men Founder’s Pack
I'd say Deadpool, Spider-Man, and War Machine will likely be $20, while the rest will probably be $60. That's just a guess though.
I'm probably going to buy the Deadpool Founder's Pack (unless its more than $20), so if for some reason you can't (I only played solo on PC) it won't matter. Buying a founder's pack grants access to the beta, and anyone who participates in the closed beta will also get Daredevil for free. So by the time the game actually launches later this spring, I should have three characters.
EDIT: They just posted some information about the packs and free characters. Daredevil will now be free for anyone who plays during the open beta. Won't be available in the close beta. Also, War Machine will be free to all PS+ subscribers.
So if you play the open beta and are a PS+ subscriber, you'll get Daredevil and War Machine for free.

War Machine is a PS+ Exclusive. If you are a PS+ member, you can head to the PSN store and purchase his pack for $16.99. This pack also includes Closed Beta access, War Machine playable, Civil War Costume, 1 XP Boost and 5$ worth of G's.
I plan on spending $20 tomorrow. Might eventually end up spending another $40 over time (buying the G's, not anymore character packs). Like Neverwinter, $60 will be my limit on it.
I played enough on the PC to know that I'll like it a lot more on console. And looking at the changes they've made specifically to the console version (and the UI in particular looks a helluva lot better), I believe this will probably end up being my primary game until Destiny 2 launches.
Been wanting this to come to console since 2014 so pretty excited to dive into it tomorrow, even-though the character's will be wiped once the closed beta is over with (although understandable).
This morning I shot off a email to Gazillion using their website requesting a beta key. They just emailed me a key, but it isn't a simple beta key that I requested (like one they'd give away on Twitter or something). They gave me a key that unlocks every founder's pack.
I don't even know what to say.
EDIT: So they've changed some things up. You no longer get a free character to select at the start. Instead when you complete the tutorial, you're given 400 Eternity Splinters.
Angela, Nova, and Squirrel Girl are 200 each. So you could get two free characters right off the bat. The other characters that aren't included in the founder's pack, so say Punisher or Ant-Man, are 400. The ones in the founder's packs are 600.
Nice, think you and Monk will both enjoy the hell out of this.
Having a blast with Punisher. Up to level 23; doesn't take real long to level up. Some of these missions are getting rough with the amount of enemies they're throwing at me, but I've only died once (and that was to Bullseye because I couldn't get to cover fast enough).
Really like the public patrol areas that you go through to get to the missions. Some of these events are fun, especially when there's lots of people running around in the area helping out. And if you're within a decent range, loot drops for you from kills other people are getting. I rounded a corner right into a big event and there was already four Eternity Splinters laying on the ground for me and a thing of crafting materials.
Monk if you want a good comparison for this, it's Diablo + Defiance with Marvel characters.
Killed my first Doop last night. It's like a Treasure Goblin from Diablo, Lots of health and disappears after a short time. I've seen three, only killed the one. Dropped all kinds of stuff including Eternity Splinters and some end-game currency Legendary Marks (we just can't escape needing Legendary Marks).
Also did my first Operation last night (seems like the MH version of a Rift without a time limit) on heroic difficulty. Was pretty fun, somewhat challenging near the end (had to back track some to regain health), and will definitely be a lot better in a group.
