Pretty good film.
In some sad news, Robert Forster died today from brain cancer.

I really wanted to enjoy it but I was just left very indifferent by the end. Shame because I love Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul, this was just a very bland fan service film. At no point did I feel it did anything to justify its existence. I get it should be treated more like a Prologue episode rather than a film but it just was unnecessary.
Unlike Breaking Bad I don't see any reason to ever revisit this.

Definitely a one and done. I would've preferred more time spent on the "present" and less time in the flashback stuff. Definitely didn't need so much Todd. Also would've preferred him to finally do one smart thing and turn his self in. He was already working with the DEA, Marie I'm assuming would've backed that story up. There would've been some leniency shown to the guy who was working with the DEA when captured and enslaved/tortured.
Also would've made a lot of money selling his story to the numerous book/movie deals that would've been offered to him.
Seeing folks who are hoping for a new series following Jesse in Alaska, and all I can say is please no. I don't think I can tolerate too much more of Pinkman being a huge moron.

Fan service film definitely, and for what it was, I enjoyed it.
If I ever do a big re-watch of Breaking Bad/Better Call Saul when it is finally wrapped, I could probably take or leave it.
Also, I hate to body shame, but Todd was so noticeably chunky in this that it took me out of every scene he was in.

Riot to your spoiler point agreed 100%. And yeah Jules I made the joke to my daughter that they could use CGI for THAT cameo (which looked very odd) but couldn't use it to make Todd look closer to how he appeared on the show
