I really wanted to enjoy it but I was just left very indifferent by the end. Shame because I love Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul, this was just a very bland fan service film. At no point did I feel it did anything to justify its existence. I get it should be treated more like a Prologue episode rather than a film but it just was unnecessary.
Unlike Breaking Bad I don't see any reason to ever revisit this.
Also would've preferred him to finally do one smart thing and turn his self in. He was already working with the DEA, Marie I'm assuming would've backed that story up. There would've been some leniency shown to the guy who was working with the DEA when captured and enslaved/tortured.
Also would've made a lot of money selling his story to the numerous book/movie deals that would've been offered to him.
Seeing folks who are hoping for a new series following Jesse in Alaska, and all I can say is please no. I don't think I can tolerate too much more of Pinkman being a huge moron.
