Bayley vs Iyo Sky for the WWE Women's Championship is going to be a fantastic match. I'd be ok with that being the main event of Night 1.
Positive out of the way.
Does anyone want to see Seth vs Cody AGAIN and Rock vs. Roman?
Damn, I feel bad for Cody and also Triple H. Seems like he's getting the rug pulled out from under his booking because Rock is on the board, chumming it up with the TKO guys and politicking hard. Now there's rumors suggesting Rock has been pitching for him to beat Roman for the belt.
Who wants that? The biggest waste of all time. Bigger waste than having Brock Lesnar end the streak. Not that Roman's reign is impressive considering they've booked him to lose every match but sneak out a win because of multiple family members getting involved every time.
What was the point of Cody even winning the Rumble? I know they couldn't have known Punk was going to get hurt, but they had to know this crap with the Rock was coming.

I'm still pumped for it, but I think I'm backing off of it from day one. We'll see. It's going to come down to what additions get added to WWE 2K24's MYGM mode, because if I get WWE then I'll get the digital deluxe edition and would rather not pay almost $200 for two games in a two-week span.

Well other than the women's Rumble, that was not a good event.
And way too long.

Yeah some of it seems outthere. Like I get Vince is a deranged person, but I also don't just automatically believe everything someone says.
I apparently have a very different definition of forced than other people. Forced to do stuff to me is against your will, made to do it. There's at least one thing in there that would be considered force rape if true, burden of proof and all that.
The other stuff sounds more like going along with stuff you don't necessarily want to do for career reasons, not actively being forced to do something. And it's not victim blaming either. Nope out of there and tell them to fuck off and quit. You weren't being held in a closet and forced to do this stuff. Chose to do it, for career and money, then signed an NDA to not talk about it.
That said, I am on her side in suing them. If you're going to have someone sign an NDA and promise them $3 million to do it, then pay the $3 million. Not $1 million and then stop payments, and have someone leak the victims name to a blogger.
In general though, as it relates to Vince, I'm of the belief that 99% of uber rich people are all highly perverted to insane degrees. At least she was an adult, more than can be said about most of the so-called elites in entertainment and politics.

So the question becomes do I continue to not support Netflix and not watch the show I've been watching for 31 years, or do I cave and subscribe?

Also would like to see Okada in WWE.
Just because of the freshness. We've seen him in AEW, and against guys in AEW, but in WWE there's a ton of matches that would be fresh.

Not a big fan of Cody winning two years in a row, but even less of a fan of CM Punk coming back and winning it after not even having a televised match back yet.
I now AEW seems to be the favorite to get her, though I don't know why she'd want that other than the money, but I could see Sasha returning and winning the Rumble.
Really hope Logan drops the title. No reason to have it on him.

So now Caleb Downs is in the portal, that's just about the whole secondary.
Such a stupid rule. Portal and NIL, and the degradation of bowl games, is going to kill college football.
These kids have it better than NFL pros.
Went from suspending players and issuing violations for free tattoos to allowing folks to hand out Lamborghinis.
There was nothing wrong with the old transfer system. Either sit out a year or play a year at some junior college.
Still excited for the new Alabama team. The more I see and hear from DeBoer the more I like him. I like the staff he has brought with him and that he has assembled. Saban had slipped, though not necessarily his own doings. Can't blame him for retiring, I'm sure having to try and recruit your own players back in addition to the next group was frustrating.

I like DeBoer a lot, dude has done nothing but win. So very happy with the pick.
That said, that Kiffin was never considered is so stupid. I don't care if he banged the wife and daughter of every booster at the same time, he still should've been considered.
More than qualified, turned down Auburn, and then gets disrespected by not even being considered. He's gonna have an axe to grind and rightfully so.

Well, Saban retired. Too bad he didn't get another national championship, but anytime you finish undefeated in conference play as the SEC Champion is a great year and a fitting send off for him.
I'd be ok with Dan Lanning, but put me in the camp that really hopes for Lane Kiffin. I've just always liked the guy going back to his Tennessee days.

Jesus, that was the Alabama of the first few weeks. Complete regression and some of the worst play calling I have ever seen.
Maybe in the off-season the other QBs can step up because Milroe ain't it. He can run, he can throw a good deep ball, but his vision sucks and he has zero ability to throw screens or slants.
A half decent Center would be nice to have too. So would a competent offensive coordinator.

Just under 10 hours in on PS5 version, and just completed the fourth Act/Area. For comparison, put about 6 hours in on the Xbox, never made it past the second area.
This game is awesome. I loved Hogwarts Legacy, but this might end up being my GOTY.

Picked up Final Fantasy XVI, Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion, and Lies of P all for PS5.
Probably gonna start with Lies of P, just because I was enjoying it on Xbox.

New exotic mission is pretty fun. Enjoyed it.
The exotic itself is meh, decent. Could be good in GM's I guess.

Gotta say that I am really enjoying the new season.
I think they added some great weapons with. Both of the seasonal activities are great. The Coil, while time consuming, is especially great. I like the ramping difficulty, that there's a non-matchmade option, and especially the rewards. There's never been a more rewarding activity in the game. I've solo'd it twice, both times just missing the Glass Collector so haven't unlocked the big treasure room at the end yet.
For that reason, I think it's a good thing this is the season that's going to run until June. Lots of great stuff here.
I'm digging the artifact mods this season as well, especially Solo Operative being back. The solar classes especially are cooking. Feels awesome.
Haven't completed the new dungeon yet, but haven't tried since unlocking Solo Operative. I beat the first boss on my Warlock without it, and will be diving back in for a solo attempt soon.
The Dawning is The Dawning, but that's not a bad thing. It's always been my favorite special event in the game.
This season is bringing me back around. Been having a lot of fun with it, most fun I've had in D2 in a very long time.

www.ign.com/articles/bungie-devs-say-atmosphere-is-soul-crushing-amid-layoffs-cuts-and-fear-of-total-sony-takeoverNo problem with any of this. These are bonuses that a company can afford to do when things are going well and money is flowing in. It's not something you just do to further bleed money. These morale events are dumb anyway. No wonder the game is ass. In addition to all the time they waste in their inclusion club safe spaces and lecturing co-workers on which black owned businesses to support, apparently, they're sitting around every month taking company classes on how to cook and knit. Remember, just a few posts up, it's too hard and time consuming to make ONE ritual armor set per year. At this point, the best thing that could probably happen to Destiny would be a complete Sony take over of it. An IGN source that's a Bungie dev just screams purple haired tranny to me. Of course, having to do a job and being expected to do it well instead of wasting company time and money with unnecessary identity BS is going to be soul-crushing. Besides that, jobs are soul crushing to most people. Few people are thrilled to go somewhere they don't care to be, to do something they don't care about, to then have little time to do things they actually enjoy. LOL, what exactly do these people expect? The irony here comes from outside Bungie with the so-called Destiny community. The ones on YouTube and reddit who make outrage posts and videos because of Bungie layoffs, while proclaiming that they're boycotting by not ordering The Final Shape. Which will just cause more people to be laid off and accomplish nothing. You work for the company; the company doesn't work for you. If you don't like it, leave it. No one is being forced to work at Bungie, or any other game development studio. If Sony were smart, they'd fully take over and shutdown Marathon and put all available resources into a new Destiny game. Current Bungie management has proven wholly incapable of managing finances and properly overseeing game development. At the same time, they desperately need to reign in the cost of Destiny 2 from a players perspective. The barrier to entry for a supposed free to play game is insane and all-around confusing to any new player who might be wanting to jump in.

I have zero faith in the Committee, so it is what it is.
Thankfully we won't have this BS next year.
Let's be honest FSU isn't one of the 4 best teams. "But undefeated conference champion has to count for something!" Would they be favored against Michigan? Washington? Texas? Alabama? Georgia? Ohio State? Oregon? Their best win was against LSU in the first game of the season.
We all saw what happened last year when they put TCU in for the same reason. 65-7. That probably wouldn't happen to FSU, but still.
I'm biased, I admit it. But scroll up a few posts and you can see I was a naysayer on this Alabama team. They were terrible for two of the first three games of the season and I thought they'd be an 8-4 team. They are much improved. Milroe is better, the OL is vastly improved. The defense is even better. They cut way down on the penalties and turn overs. Alabama now isn't even close to the team they were in early September.
I fully expect both FSU and Texas to be in, and they'll claim "every game matters." But obviously not if beating the #1 team, who has lost just two times in 47 games (both to Alabama) and back-to-back champions, doesn't count for anything because this other team beat you in week 2. Nevermind they that team lost to the only other good team they played in week 6, they beat an overranked team in their crap conference's championship game. OSU routed by South Alabama and UCF by a combined 68 points.
But sure, leave out the champions from the conference that has won 13 of the last 17 national championships or to be more relevant 6 of the 9 CFP championships.
