Looks like new DLC is coming to Borderlands 2 this Sunday. Will be free.
Return to the award winning shooter-looter for a new adventure that sets the stage for the upcoming Borderlands 3. Sanctuary is under siege, the Vault's map has been stolen and a toxic gas is poisoning Pandora. Fight new bosses, explore new zones, get new loot (including an entirely new tier beyond Legendary) and join up with Lilith and the Crimson Raiders to take on a deranged villain hell-bent on ruling the planet.
The new DLC, Commander Lilith and the Fight for Sanctuary, is available now. It's free for the next month, so download it. It'll cost $15 beginning July 8th.
This all-new adventure not only sets the stage for Borderlands 3 but also introduces some exciting new features along the way. We’re talking new areas to explore, new enemies and bosses to battle, a new level cap to hit, new aesthetic options for your Vault Hunters and vehicles, two new endgame OP levels, and a new better-than-Legendary Effervescent tier of weapons and equipment to loot.
players will be able to choose between “favor resolution” and “favor performance” on the PS4 Pro through a new setting called Graphics Preference. When “favor resolution” is selected, we aim for the highest resolution possible, capping framerate at 30 frames per second. In “favor performance” mode, we increase the framerate cap to 60 frames per second and render at 1080P.
One interesting note is that when favoring resolution on a TV that only supports 1080p, the game will supersample from the higher resolution using the console’s hardware. Because of this, the 1080p output will look sharper in this mode than it normally would, again thanks to the power of the PS4 Pro.
My monitor is 1080P and no HDR, so I don't care one bit about resolution or graphics here. Will be favoring performance all the way.
We'll find out about FL4K, the Beastmaster tomorrow.
As of now, I'm leaning towards starting with Zane, the Operative but I'm interested in this Beastmaster. Moze loos pretty cool too. I've never cared for the Siren's.
Really enjoying the Pre-Sequel. Wish I would've given it a better shake earlier.
I tried like five times before but never made it to level five. The location didn't interest me, and I found the O2 mechanic annoying.
Almost 15 on this playthrough, the world has opened up some and I'm liking it more and more. The O2 stuff no longer bothers me, larger capacity and I'm actually enjoying it since it provides faster movement (almost like Warlock skating) and verticality that BL2 didn't have.
Playing as Nisha the Lawbringer, liking her a lot. I think my previous attempts were just with Jack or Wilhelm. I'm digging the gunslinger.
LOL, I've done pretty good at avoiding too much too fast though now that it's almost upon us I'm ready to dive in. Only good thing about Shadowkeep being pushed back is me not having to juggle this and D2 right out the gate.
It's pretty awesome. I expected it to be great, but it definitely exceeded my expectations. Best one thus far, IMO.
Going to be hard to go back to Destiny.
The FOV and framerate is one thing, can readjust to that relatively quickly, but man the gunplay is just so satisfying. Gunplay is the main thing that kept me going back to Destiny, but I dare say the gunplay here is better than Destiny's. Just feels good to destroy enemies at long distances with an SMG and not have to fight a bunch of retarded recoil.
