To be honest, they lost me with the opening match. A mixed tag team elimination match where the male can only wrestle the male and the female can only wrestle the female. In McMahon's head, it didn't matter because Becky was going to get a win and Seth was going to get a win.
But, I like my stuff to make a little bit of sense. An elimination match where you eliminate yourself by defeating someone. Who would've won if WWE did the unpredictable thing and had Andrade defeat Seth (who was too concerned with Becky)?
Just completely illogical, and only happened because of the stupid no wrestling during commercials rule.
Nonsense like that, the random match restarts and false finishes, and the two-out-of-three falls matches are just getting to be too much.
We get RAW Reunion tonight, because parading a bunch of folks out there for one night is really going to do something to help ratings going forwards.
I'll mark for Austin and Sid, and some others we haven't seen in a while, but what's the point exactly? They won't be there next week, and any eyeballs they bring to the product tonight will just look away again next week. Because we all know WWE won't do anything to try and hook people with some interesting to keep them watching.
Besides the old folks, the only announced segment is Becky Lynch on Moment of Bliss.
Becky used to be one of my favorites. Now she's the one aspects of the show I dislike the most. I just want her to go away now. Her character has become a joke, not the least bit believable.
Wish they'd do something interesting for once and have AJ, Good Brothers, AND Finn Balor just destroy the legends and those who try to help. Send Asuka in to take out the old women. Establish The Club as an actual faction, not just a trio, and let them have a few months of causing chaos nWo style (without being a complete retread or overstaying its welcome).
How hard is it to make it appear that someone is in charge of the show and actually had stuff booked? Samoa Joe goes out for a promo, gets interrupted by Roman Reigns. They brawl, Roman challenges him to a match. It happens after the commercial.
Sami Zayn insults some legends, gets called out by Rey, match happens after a commercial.
What was booked in place of these two "impromptu" matches, in kayfabe? It's the laziest way to get to a match.
Why not have someone, even if they're never shown and relay information through the announcers, say that tonight's show is booked, tune in next week to see Roman Reigns vs Samoa Joe and Sami Zayn vs. Rey Mysterio?
It irritates the hell out of me, makes the whole show look bush league and thrown together last minute (which I understand is the case most weeks, but still).
EDIT: That was one of the worst, most pointless RAW's I have ever seen. Just straight garbage.
I didn't expect much, but damn. Embarrassing.

Which is too bad, because they could provide some fun moments but ultimately be used to benefit the current roster.
If they weren't going to do it with Ricochet, the guy the AJ and The Club has been feuding with, they could've done AJ vs. Finn Balor instead of Seth Rollins. And then have DX make the save for Finn, do the same spot with the The Kliq/DX and then have Finn turn on them and join The OC. These guys just destroyed DX/NWO.
Instead, The Club gets backed down by a bunch of old dudes and a guy they aren't even in a program with. Way to make them look like chumps for nothing other than the 1000th DX/NWO reunion.
The ending didn't even feature any of the current roster. Just all the old folks. We're three weeks until Summer Slam, ratings are in the dump, and THIS is what they're putting out? This is kind of garbage that belongs around Christmas/New Year's as an easy, pointless show that kind of gives everyone a break.
