I'm sad to see part-time disease infecting Summer Slam now. Bad enough that it's been WrestleMania for years, but come on. Miz deserved to be on Summer Slam, not Goldberg.
I like Trish and all, and I'm okay with her getting one last final match as a proper send off, but come on now.
Not the biggest fan of the card, but I think it'll deliver. Will be hurt by being needlessly way too long, but the wrestlers will do their best. Can't blame them for a five hour show.
Looking forward to Gulak/Lorcan, Balor/Wyatt, Styles/Ricochet, and even Owens/McMahon because while I hate him being a focal point of the show Shane usually delivers. Bayley/Ember should be interesting too. Hope Ember gets the win.
Didn't care for the double count-out, but the feud was going to continue so it is what it is I guess.
Everything else was solid. Also kudos to WWE for the 3 and a half hour runtime officially. Watched the pre-show, so considering the first match was at like 4:50, it still ran almost five hours, but they don't include that in runtime.
I agree. I have no real complaints. It's also nice to finally see Lesnar get put down clean albeit maybe slightly defying a little credulity here and there. Seth took a LOT of insane punishment, but still.
With this behind him, I hope this second title run for Seth gets some more fire under it and behind it. It's nice to have full time champs.
