Haven't been getting as much done on Oblivion as I've been wanting to, need to buckle down on that. Also working on finishing off some DLC and side stuff on Sunset Overdrive and Watch_Dogs...further along with that on Sunset Overdrive.
Beat Prototype tonight. Took numerous tries, and wasn't sure I was going to get it done on the last time, but managed to get the kill shot on the final boss right as the timer hit 0 and it gave me credit for it and went to the final cut scene.
May still piddle around with this here and there to get some more web of intrigue targets. Don't really care about the mini-game items. As for the rest of the week, think I'll probably play my Road to the Show career some and work on the Sunset Overdrive collectibles until Sunday or Monday when I start a new game.
I hate working on a Saturday...I have collectibles to finish on Sunset Overdrive, I'm behind on my UFC 2 cards, I've got several other sports games I need to get games in on, and I'm chipping away at Mass Effect 3, yet I'm at work till 4.
This list also doesn't take into account TV shows I need to catch up on or other games I squeeze stuff in on when I can(Watch Dogs, Oblivion, WWE...)
You can make your character white, but that doesn't change the fact that when he speaks he's black, has a black twin sister, and comes from the Harlem projects. It's no longer "my" career. It's a crappy Spike Lee wannabe movie about a black family, your character be damned. I set my name to be Gary, and yet the game is like you're Freq. It doesn't help that the cutscene that starts it shows a black player sitting on the couch with his family for a good five seconds before the head of your created character pops up on it.
I loved the career mode in 2K13 (the last one I played), aside from the VC nonsense, but this one is as stupid as they come.
Just make the game and let it stand on its own. We don't need music selected by Jay Z, or a career mode written/directed by a racist like Spike Lee. If you want to do some stupid crap like that, make it a separate story mode and leave mycareer alone.
Obviously, you're the one that is the racist for having a problem with being part of an African-American family from Harlem...I can't imagine why that wouldn't be a believable beginning for a majority of white folks playing this game...
Didn't play 2K13, but the dialog on 14 does have me sounding ghetto-ish from time to time. I assumed I wouldn't sound very countrified if I made it to the NBA, so I ignore it, lol.
Had been playing Civil War: A Nation Divided once in a blue moon until last night when I did a bunch of missions, so I ended up finishing it today. Was one of those games I picked up cheap after the PS3 came out and Best Buy and Walmart were unloading their PS2 stock.
