So Vince has retired from WWE. No longer chairman, CEO, or involved in creative (officially anyway).
Stephanie and Nick Khan are now co-CEO's and Triple H is back as the EVP of Talent Relations (replacing Johnny Ace).
Given that Trips and Stephanie both reportedly dislike Kevin Dunn, I can't imagine he'll be around much longer.
We're finally going to get to see a WWE without Vince McMahon in charge, and without him dying. I never thought it would happen.
I'm sure the commentators are the happiest people in the world since they'll no longer have McMahon in their yelling at them for hours at a time.

It will be interesting to see if meaningful changes happen. What a mess.

So Bruce Prichard is still with the company, but Triple H is now in charge of creative in addition to talent relations.
His NXT was excellent, one has to assume the main roster can be as well.
I don't normally wish people to lose their job, but Kevin Dunn is a multi-millionaire who won't be hurt to lose it... get him out of there and put Jeremy Borash in his place. His camera cuts and zooms have been, by far, the worst thing about WWE television for years.

I didn't think anything could top the crazy news we saw last year, but 2023 has already done it in the first 2 weeks of the year. I presume everyone has been following the Return of the Chairman saga, and the potential sale of the company. Heavily rumored to be the Saudis, but nothing confirmed from any real credible news outlets.

I like McMahon well enough, and certainly respect the guy and appreciate all that he's done for the wrestling business... but good Lord, go away dude.
I don't hate the Saudi's nearly as much as the virtue signaling crowd does, but if anyone's going to purchase I really hope it's Comcast/NBC Universal. Nothing would really change that much with them and they've had a relationship with the company in some form for essentially five decades.
I actually like Peacock as a service, and think WWE Network on it is a pretty good fit and certainly a better value (lots more stuff, half the price) and would like for it to stay there.
I don't like Disney as a company, and really hope they don't get it. Granted I do have Disney+ and ESPN+, but there's no way they wouldn't treat WWE PPV's like UFC PPV's, and well I'm just not buying PPV's again.
But for the love of God, Vince please stay the hell away from creative. (no chance in hell)

NBC seems to be the least bad of a bunch of bad options.
News going around that the Khans (Tony's dad) are interested which from a pure chaotic entertainment POV would be, very interesting.

Just gotta say, fuck Vince McMahon.
WrestleMania Night 1 was fantastic, felt like a giant TakeOver.
WrestleMania Night 2 felt different, was merely decent.
RAW After WrestleMania was the drizzling shits. All because this old bastard can't stay away and continue to make money.
The talent and backstage workers should just refuse to work if he's going to be in charge and having any say in it. Since they won't do that, FOX and NBC really ought just tell WWE to pound sand later this year when the media rights deals need to be worked out.

The merger with UFC is a BIG deal.

Triple H gave us one great 6 to 8 months. You could feel the mood change from the first Raw after the sale.
