And now there's a fight with Andrade punching out Sammy after they traded mean tweets to each other.
AEW is out of control.

Punk needs to go. Guy has been a problem everywhere he's been. Of course, he couldn't exactly do stuff like that in WWE because he a boss that acted like it and wouldn't tolerate it, but also shared a lockerroom with a bunch of guys who also wouldn't tolerate it. Tony came out of that looking like a little bitch. Reminds me of the dorky boy in Indian in the Cupboard. For whatever his faults were, and there were many, no one would have ever done to Vince McMahon what Phil Brooks did to Tony Khan at that press conference. I remain hopeful that this was either a worked shoot, or if not, they can come together to work. In my mind, Punk vs Omega has always been the match that needed to happen when Punk was first signed. Right now we are either as close to that happening or as far away from it happened as possible and I can't say for sure which is which. If this was a total shoot---then this to me is kind of a Will Smith smacking Chris Rock moment for CM Punk. It overshadowed what was a great show, and the return of MJF etc... and now all anyone can talk about is the post-show BS. If it's part of a bigger story, then I will reserve my thoughts. If this was Punk just "being Punk" then though, yeah, not a good look at all.

So I will assume everyone saw the AEW media scrum and fallout thus far from the CM Punk comments.
If this all isn't a big work somehow (and kudos if it is) this is an all time embarrassing moment for any wrestling company. Punk just ripped the whole company a new one with the boss sitting emasculated right next to him... calling Page an empty headed dumb**** and then apparently has a fight backstage with all three of the remaining EVPS.
Wow.

So far so good in the HHH era.
Just been some good simple small steps in the right direction.
We've all been saying it for years.
WWE had every reason in the world to succeed creatively and was being held back by the whims of one man.

Ol' Cornette had a hilarious response to a few possibilities of who the 2005 release was... some suggested Molly Holly, which he said basically he'd bet the farm on her not being that type of person, and the other suggestion being Jackie Gayda, whom he said it wasn't possible via the fact that Charlie Haas would have murdered Vince years ago if that were the case... "He punched the fuck out of Grizzly Redwood for stepping on his cowboy hat..." LOL.

Good to see ya CBT.
Jordynne Grace saying anything about Benoit as a wrestler is like me saying picasso couldn't paint. She ain't qualified to have an opinion on the matter---with the normal admission that may he rot in piss for what he did to that poor child and his wife.

I'll admit to being amused by the way they handled the elias return. Good job on the fake beard WWE.
Also, Vince hopping from the stairs will be a meme for years and years.

WWE scripting would take away a lot of what makes MJF so great--unless he's able to convince people he should have Heyman-esqe freedom to do as he pleases.
Wherever he winds up, if he's not this generations biggest heel star looking back 5 years from now, someone somewhere has dropepd the ball.

What's going on with AEW's booking of Bryan Danielson?
He had about a month where he was doing a great quasi-heel run and after having spectacular matches and for the past few months it seems they have just shoved him in random six man tags. Unless he's hurt and this is just a way of keeping him on TV, it doesn't really make any sense to me.

Heard rumors going around that Roman got hurt which lead to the quick finish of the night two main event. Haven't watched Raw yet to see how that played out on the show.

Mr. McMahon ain't got any better at taking stunners since his first in 97. It was hilarious though and perfect use of Austin on night two.
So far, night one is proving to be my favorite and unless Roman and Brock really go above and beyond that likely won't change.
Also, loved Pat vs Theory. Pat is a natural.

I've never liked Johnny Knoxville and this match is quickly making its way to my bottom 5 matches in Mania history.

Those people don't get it. Kevin does. He was Austin's last, true, sign off/farewell opponent. It was good stuff and fun. So what happens to Seth Rollins with this continued "losing streak." I just want Seth to take a few months break and come back as basic Seth. Joker Seth is the drizzling shits. Pretty much every gimmick he's had since King Slayer era has been over the top hokey crap that's beyond his ability to pull off. Seth can be a decent heel or babyface but the zany costume ball BS needs to end and never be brought up again.

Austin and Owens was about as good as you could hope for----the storyline leading into it was kinda shakey but in the moment it worked because Austin is as over as over can get and this was Texas after all. Also in a big way this was really the proper send off we'd all been wanting for many years. Great job by KO of being a heat getter and bump machine.
Not a bad match the whole night.

Cody got a nice reaction. He was really in a weird spot there at the end of his AEW run. Hopefully this works out and gives him a good main event run.

Cody Rhodes as surprise opponent for Seth? If its not him then I don't know who unless they pull a mega surprise with Rock or something.

I gotta say, the Paul brothers are natural heels and Logan did pretty good in that match.
Nothing has been off the charts good but nothing has stunk out the joint so far.

Well, as lapsed a fan as I am I believe I will take advantage of having no work this weekend and watch this two night (still not a fan of that) extravaganza and eat some buffalo chicken dip in the process.
Edge vs AJ, Pat vs Theory, Austin/Owens and Brock and Roman have my interest.
