I also played last night for the second time in weeks(got a raid clear in with my other group the other week). Never got the Heir Apparent catalyst, so want to try and do that.

Next week is the final week of season 16.
I'll be back into this on the 24th when the new season begins. Looking forward to the dungeon, and the Iron Banner changes sound pretty good. Excited to play Rift again. Bummer that it's only going to be 2 Iron banner's a season though.

Didn't even make rank 100 this season. Guess I could still. I'm in the 80s.

lootplex.com/2022/05/23/bungie-reveals-destiny-2s-season-of-the-haunted/Seems interesting. I liked the Leviathan as a setting. Drang is one of my all time favorite weapons, especially in PvP, and so I'm excited to have it back with random rolls again. Hopefully it's craftable. Excited to get back into it. I'm hoping crucible is better simply because of the special ammo nerf. That was my biggest complaint with PvP, people using shotguns as primary weapons. With only getting one ammo from a brick, I hope it won't be such an issue now. Ideally, more folks will use double primary and starve the few hold outs from any special. Of course more than likely, most folks will continue to run with a shotgun out and die so that one ape on the opposing team can still have unlimited ammo.

This might be my favorite season yet, right up there with Arrivals.
And that's simply because the seasonal activity isn't some recycled six-man matchmade activity. They gave us back The Leviathan as a true patrol zone, and made the seasonal activity a tiered Public Event there. Like Arrivals had a public event, but I like this one better.
The Sever mission is also pretty cool.
The loot looks great, and Drang is craftable which is awesome.
There are still aspects of the seasonal stuff I don't care for, but as far as seasonal content goes, this one is great. Already love having Levithan as an endgame patrol zone, and the containment event is pretty fun (at least better than the usual seasonal activities).

I'm pretty happy with this myself. Getting back the Opulence weapons makes me happy. I thought they were a strong lineup. Austringer is really solid HC. I hope a lot of these are craftable. I really like Drang, too. There are a lot of good pieces of gear that are so easy to lose track of.

All the weapons are craftable, just going to be a grind to unlock their patterns.
Having a lot of fun with this, and I've done nothing but Leviathan stuff all day.
Got a Drang with my first Opulent key, and it was my PvP god roll (at least perk wise). Outlaw/Rampage. Still want to craft an enhanced one, but at least I got a great one first thing.
I'd say best looking weapons they've made yet (and the dungeon weapons look awesome). The season pass ornaments are also fantastic.
EDIT: Trespasser is great as well. Great in PvE, going to be awesome in PvP too. The catalyst will make it even better, as it adds Tunnel Vision to it.

I need to watch a video about the Opulent keys and some of this to try and get more efficient and optimal. Not really thrilled about the grind part but I am glad the weapons are all craftable.

Some of the grind will get taken out when you upgrade the Crown of Sorrow.
Opulent Deepsight makes it so the first Opulent chest each week is guaranteed to be Deepsight opulent weapon. Sever Deepsight does the same for the haunted weapons. Focusing does the same for whichever weapon type you focus first during a week.
Not perfect of course, but still better than having to rely purely on RNG.

Nice. I'll probably continue to rely on the mercy of RNG drops more than crafting simply because it's going to take an eternity to meet the requirements otherwise.
The dungeon is going to take me some time to get down but that's to be expected. Nice design. Some of the "gimmick" might be overdone but overall pretty solid.

Will probably attempt to solo the dungeon.
Gota to say I'm enjoying Solar 3.0 quite a bit. Have each class built out pretty well, and they're all a blast to play. They'll all be a lot better once I unlock some of the class item mods from the artifact.

I've gutted through 4 runs of that dungeon with randoms. Got all the memories by luck. I've been able to get my two chests for the week. I still get that damned sword to drop.

That's actually a buff for Ghally in PvE.
Now that's it impact damage, it'll do more damage to targets. Plus, will longer have it detonate early because a dreg or something got close.

I finally logged in for the first time this season. That side arm is something.

Solstice is such a crap event. No way in the world would I do all of those challenges on three characters. That's 75 games of crucible (or worse, gambit), No thanks. Hell 25 is a chore.
I miss D1, even early D2.
I hate everything about the seasonal approach. The season pass grind, the seasonal challenges and dragging everything out over the course of 9-10 weeks or so. I hate the pinnacle power grind.
Game feels like more of a chore or job rather than the fun it used to be.

Going to attempt some solo flawless runs of the dungeons before the season ends. I've solo'd all of them but the latest one (yet), but never cared/attempted to do it flawless before.
Might as well try before Classy Restoration goes away.
EDIT: Pit of Heresy solo flawless completed on third try. Never died to enemies, stupid spinning blades got me twice. The only reason I had never attempted it before was the Totem room, but that was a joke with Classy.
I'll try Prophecy when it is the featured run, and Grasp when it is the featured run. Grasp should be easy, it was already a very easy one to solo.

First attempt at Prophecy ended on the second damage phase of the final boss, when I made the foolish decision to try and run past him and jump. Ended up getting blooped off the platform.
Not really satisfied with my damage though. It would've probably five phases playing it conservatively and assuming I would have low heavy ammo.
