www.hollywoodreporter.com/tv/tv-news/new-spartacus-series-starz-1235643463/Spartacus is one of my favorite shows. I'm actually rewatching it currently before learning of this news. But why is this a thing a decade later? “The series poses the question: What if Ashur hadn’t died on Mount Vesuvius at the end of Spartacus: Vengeance? And what if he had been gifted the gladiator school once owned by Batiatus in return for aiding the Romans in killing Spartacus and putting an end to the slave rebellion?” That's a dumb premise. I liked Ashur, but of all the things this is what they come up with? The Ceasar or Crassus spinoff was right there. Even with what if scenarios, there were better options that could've been explored.
